Research
The Bio/Chemoinformatics group develops methods and software for annotation and analysis of biological and chemical data. It analyzes RNA/DNA and protein data acquired by high-throughput instruments. The group also performs computing tasks associated with the design and annotation of screening libraries, the analyses of structure-activity relationships and the identification of mechanism of drug-action.
Recent projects:
- Development of database and software for identification of mutant, polymorphic and/or alternatively spliced genes on protein level using MS spectra/fragmentation data
- Development of and maintenance laboratory information management system - MedChemBio portal of medicinaland biological chemistry, and hospital information system
