ONKO PACIENT 2025: Successful Third Annual Patient Conference

On October 23, 2025, the 3rd annual ONKO PACIENT patient conference took place at the Old Town Hall in Prague.


The conference was ceremonially opened by Assoc. Prof. Marián Hajdúch, Ph.D., with his lecture “Causes of Cancer Development and How to Prevent Them: A Special Focus on Tumors Caused by Papillomavirus Infection.” In the afternoon session, Vladimíra Koudeláková, Ph.D., presented her talk “Early Detection of Oropharyngeal Carcinoma: From Research to Clinical Application.” Other speakers included Assoc. Prof. David Vrána, M.D., Ph.D., Prof. Roman Chlíbek, M.D., Ph.D., and Prof. Jan Klozar, M.D., CSc., and other significant experts in oncology and research. 

The conference concluded with final remarks by Marián Hajdúch, followed by an open discussion with experts and attendees, providing an opportunity to share experiences and ask questions. It was an inspiring day full of knowledge, information, and hope for everyone interested in prevention and modern approaches in oncology.
