Importance of molecular markers for cancer diagnostics
The thesis is focused on the detection of cancer associated markers. Emphasis is on importance of polymerase chain reaction based gene rearrangements in the diagnosis of lymphoproliferative disorders in biopsy samples. These results have confirmed that the PCR-based analysis is suitable as a routine method and is helpful in establishing a diagnosis in morphologically unclear cases.
